Photographic Portrait of Tomson Highway.

Tomson Highway is the writer of Caribou Song, a story about two Cree children in Canada's north who follow the caribou by dogsled with their family.

In this interview series produced for our Navigate the Treeline section, we sit down and talk to Tomson who shares with us his inspiration for the story. He conveys his memories about growing up near Canada's treeline, and we feel his contagious passion for Canada's immense and magical beauty.
